Cancellation or Late Arrival Policies

Sometimes, unforeseen circumstances arise. If you're feeling unwell or have a contagious illness, please contact us as soon as possible to reschedule your appointment. We prefer to see you when you're feeling better and fully rested.

To ensure we provide the best care and accommodate all our patients, we kindly ask for your cooperation with our policy. Your understanding helps us serve everyone efficiently.

Please give us at least 2 business days’ notice if you need to change or reschedule a confirmed appointment.

LATE arrival to your appointment

To help us see everyone on time, please aim to arrive promptly for your scheduled appointment. If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, you may need to reschedule or be added to the waiting list for the day.

We understand that unexpected situations can arise, and we will do our best to accommodate late arrivals. If your appointment time becomes inconvenient, please let us know at least 2 business days in advance so we can reschedule to a more suitable time and fill your slot with another patient in urgent need.

Please note, if you arrive more than 20 minutes late and we are unable to complete the treatment, a cancellation fee may apply and a new appointment will be necessary.

Cancellation and Failure to Attend

Your dental care is important to us, and when we schedule your appointment, we're reserving time and resources specifically for you. We do not double-book or overbook patients; your appointment is dedicated solely to your treatment.

If you need to cancel or reschedule:

Please call us at 03 9017 1188 or email info@smileandco.com.au with at least 2 business days’ notice.

While our friendly team will make every effort to remind you of your appointment if requested, it’s your responsibility to manage your appointment and reschedule in advance.

At SMILE & Co., we strive for excellent customer service and high-quality dental care. Late arrivals, missed, or cancelled appointments disrupt our schedule and affect other patients. Therefore, a $75 late cancellation fee applies for cancellations made with less than 2 business days’ notice. If you need to reschedule due to illness or an urgent commitment, we will do our best to accommodate you. However, if you opt not to reschedule, the fee will still apply.

Failure to notify us of a cancellation or missing a confirmed appointment will result in a full service fee being charged.

Please help us ensure timely care for all our patients by cancelling or rescheduling as early as possible and informing us if you’re running late. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
